THE STORY

More than 200 years old, this white oak stood on the Hunt family ranch in Hunt County, Texas, before being toppled by a storm. What remained revealed something that had been forming quietly for generations—the sweeping grain, deep fissures, and hollow center shaped by age and time. Standing 30 inches tall, the finished piece preserves that history rather than disguising it, transforming a fallen tree into a sculptural statement of endurance, loss, and renewal.
